Welcome to Virginia's AYES website! If you are an Automotive Technology student you are already on your way to a high paying and rewarding career. The U.S. Department of Labor estimates that there are currently openings for more than 50,000 qualified automotive technicians nationwide. The average pay range for experienced Master Technicians is between $50,000 and $70,000 annually plus benefits.

If you are currently an AYES student you are a step ahead in your career path. AYES programs are NATEF-certified, insuring that you have the opportunity to become qualified in four of the eight ASE areas sought by dealerships. As an AYES student you have the opportunity for an AYES Internship which provides real-world experience, one of the greatest advantages in starting your career!

If you aren't an AYES student, now is the time to take advantage of the opportunities an AYES program offers. If your school isn't AYES-certified, ask your instructor how you can help your program become certified!

Automotive Students ... Automotive Technology Scholarships Are Available!

The VADA Education Foundation has a number of scholarships available annually to high school students in automotive technology programs who want to continue their automotive technology education at a Virginia Community College!  These scholarships are designed to cover approximately 60% of the costs of tuition, books and supplies and are paid directly to the Virginia Community College to which you have been accepted.
